Great Laurel
This delicate white and pink flower was one of the first to bloom on the bush. I found it growing near the end of Tatham Gap Road in Graham County, NC one afternoon in June. |

Pink and Yellow
Pink Phlox and yellow Tickseed mingle together along hiking trails and roadsides throughout western North Carolina. These were found growing along the Cherokee County section of Tatham Gap Road. |

Flame Azalea
This was taken early one morning in the Bear Creek area of Graham County, NC. I have long heard this flower called the wild honeysuckle by the old-timers. This beautifully colored cluster seemed to be reaching up for the early morning June sun. |
